Tim Vogel
President and Chief Executive Officer

Tim co-founded Scioto in 1999. Before forming Scioto, he was President and CEO at PeopleServe, Inc. PeopleServe was the largest private service provider in the MR/DD industry before its acquisition in 1999. Tim completed The Executive Program at the Darden Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of Virginia. He received his bachelor of science degree in accounting in 1980 from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and is a Certified Public Accountant.

David Potts

David co-founded Scioto in 1999. Before forming Scioto, he was Treasurer of PeopleServe, Inc. Prior to PeopleServe, David was Vice President of Republic Industries, Inc. in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. He also worked as Assistant Treasurer for Blockbuster Entertainment Corporation. David started his career with Security Pacific Merchant Bank in Chicago, Illinois. He received his bachelor of science degree in finance from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.

Mary Bea Eaton

Mary Bea has over 15 years of experience with various service providers in executive management, most recently as Director of Operations in West Virginia and Vice President-Eastern Region. She was responsible for strategic planning, including business growth and development. Mary Bea also provided operational due diligence and business planning for small companies and nonprofit provider organizations. She holds a bachelors degree in public administration from West Liberty State College and a masters degree in education from West Virginia University.

Mike Mess
General Counsel

Mike is General Counsel and oversees housing grant activities for Scioto. For almost 30 years, he has worked with social enterprises and nonprofit organizations as both outside advisor and senior executive. Previously, Mike was a partner in the law firm of Bricker & Eckler. Mike serves on the board of numerous nonprofit organizations in Central Ohio. He is an adjunct professor at Capital University Law School in Columbus, Ohio, and a faculty facilitator for University of Phoenix, Columbus Campus.
